Q. What is BestHealth?

A. BestHealth is a comprehensive, voluntary health and wellbeing program provided by the Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation (BMHCC) to give you the tools and support you need to live your healthiest life.

Q. What services does BestHealth offer?

Q. Who is eligible to participate in the services BestHealth offers?

A. The BestHealth Wellness Program is FREE to ALL EMPLOYEES and SPOUSES!

Q. How do I become a member of BestHealth?

A. Complete your Health Risk Assessment Questionnaire and biometric screening between January 2nd – March 31st. Have a provider complete and submit a biometric screening form.

You will need to create an online account and complete an online health risk assessment questionnaire with inHealth Wellbeing.

To create an online account with inHealth Wellbeing:

  • Download the inHealth Wellbeing mobile app or visit the web portal @ https://portal.inhealth4change.com.
  • At the inHealth Wellbeing site click on Create Account for first time users.
  • When asked for the company ID, type BPI.
  • Complete all information under My Account and then accept the Terms of Service. Important tips…
  • Password must have 8-15 characters, contain at least one number and one special character (! @ # $ % ^ & *).
  • Use the last 6 digits of your social security number.
  • If you don’t have a physician or don’t remember his/her name, type NA.

To complete an online health risk assessment questionnaire with inHealth Wellbeing:

  • Login to the inHealth Wellbeing mobile app or visit the web portal @ https://portal.inhealth4change.com.
  • On the main page, click on Screening on the menu and then click on My Health Risk Assessment Questionnaire.
  • Complete the questionnaire, enter your initials, and click Submit.
  • Confirm completion of the questionnaire by returning to Screening to see the ü mark and completion date.

Q. What if I am unable to participate in BestHealth due to a limitation or disability?

A. If you are unable to take part in a BestHealth-approved biometric screening with a Primary Care Provider or any health-related programs or classes, you may be entitled to reasonable accommodations or an alternative standard by emailing BestHealth @ BestHealth@bmhcc.org
or calling  901-227-2378 (BEST).

Q. What is a BestHealth-approved biometric screening and what does it measure?

A. BestHealth-approved biometric screening is a series of health tests performed by a Primary Care Provider to offer insight into your overall health. A BestHealth-approved biometric screening includes measurements of height, weight, waist circumference, Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, heart rate, blood glucose, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.

Q. How do I complete a BestHealth-approved biometric screening with a physician?

  • Complete your Health Risk Assessment Questionnaire in the inHealth wellbeing app or portal.
  • Bring the BestHealth -approved biometric screening form to your appointment, and have the physician complete the form.
  • Your physician will fax the completed screening form to BestHealth and a copy of the official tobacco results should be attached. The BestHealth-approved biometric screening form can be found in the inHealth Wellbeing portal @ https://portal.inhealth4change.com or email BestHealth @ BestHealth@bmhcc.org to a request a screening form. If you don’t have a Primary Care Provider and need assistance in locating one, please email BestHealth @ BestHealth@bmhcc.org or call 901-227-2378 (BEST).

Q. Can I have my annual wellness exam at the same time as my BestHealth-approved biometric screening?

A. Yes.  When scheduling your appointment, inform them that you would like to have both your annual wellness exam and BestHealth-approved biometric screening performed all in one visit. You receive one FREE annual wellness exam once per calendar year, which is January 1 – December 31.

Q. Does BPI allow me to “be on the time clock” when I go for my BestHealth-approved biometric screening appointment?

A. Yes. You will need to use available SICK time in order to be paid for your hours not worked while at your appointment.  Upon confirmation that the BestHealth approved biometric screening is complete, a Wellness Day will be added to your Time Off ‘bank’.

Q. What are the pre-screening instructions before going to my BestHealth-approved biometric screening?

  • Fast at least 6 hours for best results.
  • While fasting, please take medications as prescribed with water.

Q. During my BestHealth-approved biometric screening, can I have the Primary Care Provider use my previous blood work?

A. Yes but only if the blood work was taken within the last 180 days.  The blood work includes blood glucose, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.  The cotinine test must be performed each program year.

Q. How will I know if my BestHealth-approved biometric screening results have been submitted or faxed to BestHealth?

  • You will receive an email confirmation from BestHealth to the email associated with your inHealth Wellbeing account. If you do not receive a confirmation email several weeks after your biometric screening, please email BestHealth @ BestHealth@bmhcc.org or call 901-227-2378 (BEST).
  • Also, you can login to the inHealth Wellbeing mobile app or web portal @ https://portal.inhealth4change.com and click on Rewards on the menu. If the Biometric Screening has a green check mark beside it, we have received your screening results.

Q. How can I view the results of my completed BestHealth-approved biometric screening?

A. Login to your inHealth Wellbeing account through the inHealth Wellbeing mobile app or web portal @ https://portal.inhealth4change.com. Click on Screening Results on the menu. You will then be able to view a side-by-side comparison of your most recent screening results to your initial screening results.

Q. What does BestHealth do with the information from my health risk assessment questionnaire and my biometric screening information?

A. This information is used to provide you with the information to help you understand your current health and potential health risks and used to offer you wellbeing services such as wellbeing programs and classes and 1-on-1 health coaching.

Q. What are the Wellbeing rewards?

A. As an incentive to complete your annual screening and work toward your health goals, employees will earn a Wellness Day – A FULL PAID DAY OFF!  Spouses are not eligible for the wellbeing reward.

Q. How do I see if I earned any Wellbeing rewards from my BestHealth-approved biometric screening?

A. Login to your inHealth Wellbeing account through the inHealth Wellbeing mobile app or web portal @ https://portal.inhealth4change.com. Click on Rewards on the menu. If there is a green checkmark beside the reward(s), you have earned the reward(s).
