Well-being Challenges

Take small steps toward reviving your overall well-being! These wellness campaigns are meant to identify personal challenges, help set goals and encourage healthier lifestyle behaviors.

Your well-being challenge can be as long as 6 weeks or as short as 4 weeks. In addition to an email invitation and weekly reminders and tips, you will receive an 11 x 17 promotional poster that can be printed and posted in the workplace as well as a 5 x 2.5 graphic to post on your intranet.

Set Goals, Not Resolutions

It’s a new year and time for a fresh start! While most people are making resolutions, why not set goals for your wellbeing journey instead. This challenge helps you to establish healthy habits to continue throughout the year.

Your Goal

Log an average of 200 minutes of physical activity per week for the 6-week challenge period.

Eating Clean

Challenge yourself to eat clean! Small changes in your diet can make a big difference in your health. During this 6-week challenge, commit to creating a new healthy habit each week, filling up on five fruits and vegetables per day.

Your Goal

Clean up your diet and eat healthier by having 5 fruits and vegetables a day. Learn and experience the benefits of eating more real foods that can lead to better health. Eat 5 fruits and vegetables a day during the 6-week challenge.

Maintain, Don’t Gain

Challenge yourself to Maintain, Don’t Gain! This challenge will help you avoid weight gain as the holiday season approaches (or any 6-week period). You’ll receive practical tips, positive support and recipes to help you successfully navigate your food choices.

Your Goal

Eat healthier during the holidays and maintain a healthy weight. Lose or maintain weight after the holidays or over any 6-week period.

An Attitude of Gratitude

In addition to the increase in work performance, gratitude also helps improve employee health and wellbeing. Feeling and expressing gratitude promotes a positive and happy mood. These brain boosts can have significant positive effects on employees’ physical and mental health. 

Your Goal

Create a culture of kindness by expressing thankfulness and incorporating mindfulness into daily routines and interactions. Everyday, work toward building and improving relationships while developing positive, healthy habits.

Lighten Up!

Make your journey a healthy one! Challenge yourself to Lighten Up! Participate in this challenge to help you lose weight (over a 4 to 6-week period) by ramping up your physical activity and eating a healthy diet. 

Your Goal

Drop any number of pounds over a six-week period by eating healthier and maintaining physical activity. Log 30 minutes of physical activity five times per week.

Track your physical activity in the inHealth mobile app by clicking on the Health Tracking tab and then on Physical Activity.

Total Well-being

Rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit with weekly meditations and tips available during this six-week journey. In addition to nourishing your body with healthy foods and physical activities, there are several other ways to improve overall health, including spiritual, mental and professional. 

Your Goal

Challenge yourself to 30 minutes of physical activity, three times a week. Each week of the challenge will feature one of the seven dimensions of wellness.

Rethink Your Drink

Getting enough water each day is important to your well-being. Your needs may vary when it comes to how much water you should drink daily. To start, challenge yourself to drink at least 64 ounces of water a day. That’s 8 cups of water every day. 

Your Goal

Drink 8 cups of water a day for 6 weeks.

Walking Campaign

Make  your steps count! Walking for 30 minutes a day or more a week is a great way to improve and maintain your overall well-being. Don’t miss out on reaping the health benefits of walking. Go ahead and get your steps in! 

Your Goal

Challenge yourself to take a brisk, 30-minute walk, roughly 4,000 steps. Count those steps toward your goal of reaching 10,000 steps a day for at least five days a week.

Companions on a Journey

Whether you are working together or living together, it is important to walk together in the spirit of integrity, kindness, humility, teamwork, stewardship and wellness.

Your Goal

Average 7,000 steps per day for five days or 35,000 steps per week during this 6-week journey of companionship. Enjoy weekly inspirations to building healthy relationships and strong bonds along the way!
